At that stage I had decided to add the medium to my repertoire and got a set of 60 Rembrandt soft pastels and one of 40 Art Spectrum, both portrait color sets. I intend to replace and gradually increase numbers with Sennelier and Schminke as I'm told are softer and probably better for layering.\r\n... far cry from the three colors only I use for oil painting! In pastels you need every color.
