Biocompatibility ("Fits Right with Life!")
In the quest to meet current consumer demand for 'natural' ingredients, some companies have introduced raw materials from natural sources like bark and algae. However, these 'natural' substances have never been part of the human food chain, so we have no way of knowing if they are 'biocompatible', that is - do they fit right with life? Are they safe for lifetime consumption? The human body may not even be equipped to properly process these substances!
