As the title implies, these are a compilation of the
best pole vaulters there are records for. They are the ones we emulate, the ones
we want to vault like. Technical role models, sort of.
Whenever possible, pictures are provided. Other times a bit of their profile and
yet for some we just have to read on to find out what made them
"good".
There is a sense of "mission" in all of them thorough their careers,
no matter for how long they lasted. The best compete for a long time. Well over
10 and some even 20+ years.
The bottom line? ...new up and coming pole vaulters following
their footsteps...
