The first class is the registration fee.

Please register online. We save on class time by entering your details beforehand.
You need to pay for the first class to reserve your or your child's place in the class you choose.
Please also fill out the Student Information Form. We need this information by law.
We teach all year except for the Christmas-New Year holydays. 

The Rule is:

Absent Without Notice makes your place (or your child's place) vacant. If paid in advance we deduct the cost of the class. If not paid, we can fill the vacancy if there is a demand. You can take as much time off as you need though, as long as you let us know.

Class size:

• The class has room for up to six students. 
• I keep an extra place to use as a make-up class. 
• Also a practice place for a student who has finished the courses.

Payment options:

• Online: Credit card, PayPal.
• In-person: Credit Card, Eftpos, Cash.
• By phone: Credit Card, EFT.

Discounts and vacancies:

• 5% discount for 5 classes or 10% for 10 classes, paid at one time.
• Any "Absence Without Notice" will cost a class if pre-paid, or the vacancy if not pre-paid. Please let us know if you can't attend a class (You don't have to give us a reason). 
• Places will be kept ONLY for 2 consecutive "Absent Without Notice". 
• Please check with the teacher if a place is still available after 2 "Absent Without Notice". 
• Exceptions: sickness, medical, death in the family, or holidays.

Sibling Discounts: 

The school offers a discount for siblings who attend concurrently. The discount is as follows: 2nd child 15%, 3rd child and subsequent 30%

We DON'T take Creative Kids vouchers: We are a very small art school meeting at my studio. Still, the discounts mentioned above will save you more than the vouchers.

Progressing from drawing to painting:

When students who have taken the drawing class reach a good level of proficiency, they will be offered progression to a painting class.
Accepting this offer is not compulsory, materials cost more and this may need time to be budgeted. The cost per class is the same. The only requirement of the oil painting class is that the child be careful with wet paint. This is not a problem with soft pastels and water based oils, though. Younger children usually handle soft pastels well. Older children can handle oils well too. We can use water-soluble paints for the young ones. The sky is the limit to how much they can learn in realistic color painting.

Still, the student can continue drawing and learn advanced techniques, as some kids do.
